Owners and billing admins can add a second sign-in step, money and capture forms share one layout, treatments start from a product type, and offline work stays with the person who captured it.
Owners and billing admins can turn on two-step verification under
My account, receiving a 6-digit code by email or from an authenticator
app such as Google Authenticator. It is off until you turn it on. Security
changes on your account now send you an email.
Sales, expenses, payments and the other money and capture forms share one
layout. Correcting an unpaid invoiced sale can now change its customer, and
correcting a paid expense moves its payment with it.
Treatments start with the product type, such as Vaccines, Antibiotics
or Dewormers, then the product. Each Organization gets a starter list of
common health products, and a product's label defaults (route, dose and
withdrawal days) fill the treatment form. You can name the medicine batch a
treatment used. Inventory items gain a Product type field.
Stock counts are judged against what your records said when you counted.
A movement from before the count that synced later is taken into account
when the count is approved, and the approved line shows that difference.
A count warns when farm eggs are still waiting to be graded.
Offline capture is safer on a shared phone: work queued by one person
stays theirs and is never sent under the next person who signs in. A
capture shows as queued as soon as it is stored, and a large backlog
syncs in batches.
Sign-up asks for your country, currency and contact email, and accepts
international phone numbers. In Kenya, subscriptions can be paid online.
A payment page can record another payment and links to its customer or
supplier. Sales and expenses can no longer be recorded for archived
customers and suppliers, and a list export that reaches its row limit says
so in the file name.
Imports match customers, suppliers, Sites, Houses and stock from the file you uploaded, record expense payments, and keep saved matches until you choose to re-check.
Sales imports can match a customer by a unique exact name or by a match you
accepted in an earlier import. Shared or conflicting names still need your
choice. Customers in this file brings the file's customer names together
so you can review them, pick existing customers, or create named customers
without visiting every row. Suppliers in this file does the same for the
suppliers on an expense file, and a name you already have is flagged so you
do not create a second contact for it.
Expense files can now carry Paid, Payment method, Payment date
and Payment reference, read against Amount exactly as the sales
columns are read against Total. Files without those columns behave as
before. A record that uses the shared walk-in supplier must leave nothing
owed, which is the rule sales already followed for the walk-in customer.
Placements match their Site and House by name, and inventory items,
feed sources and farm stock are matched before approval instead of at the end.
For farm-produced eggs, a Farm column can select stock when one pool
matches the farm and grade; purchased stock still needs an explicit choice.
Matches are saved when correction mode opens and stay put. They no longer
change when another reviewer saves an unrelated field, or when the underlying
lists change. Re-check farms and customers refreshes them deliberately
before any rows import, and your saved choices and exclusions are kept. An
older review may need a one-time re-check before further edits; if it is
already partly imported and cannot be re-checked, contact support rather than
uploading the accepted rows again. Approval still checks that the chosen
customers, suppliers and stock are eligible.
Import batches list ten a page, so a long history opens quickly.
If your organization receives notifications through a webhook, each delivery
now carries an id and a timestamp, plus a second signature that covers both.
Your existing signature is unchanged and still sent, so nothing needs to
change on your side today.
Record egg sorting or live-bird selection with a sale, review farm stock counts, and import the same work without recording it twice.
When an egg sale needs more sorted stock, choose Sort for this sale to
record the sorting and sale together. You can use some existing sorted stock,
keep extra eggs by grade, and record eggs thrown away while sorting. For
sorting on its own, Go to grading brings you back to the unfinished sale.
For live birds, choose the Bird Lot and Bird grade on each sale line.
Already harvested sells recorded output without removing live birds again.
Select and sell these live birds records the selection, measured weight
and sale together. Both combined workflows can queue offline and post when
the connection returns.
Stock counts now distinguish farm eggs from harvested birds:
A farm egg count with a difference waits for a manager. If eggs were sorted
without a record, the manager can confirm that sorting during review.
Every harvested-bird count waits for review. A shortage corrects harvested
stock, not the live flock. Extra birds require checking the harvest records
and counting again.
Imports support the same sorting and selection work. Review the linked rows
as one job before posting. You can also correct a record's fields and Lot
split together, preserve its egg grade, and enter Total / Paid without
uploading a replacement file.
Inventory valuation separates purchased stock from farm-produced harvested
birds. Produced birds are shown as Not valued under the current model,
outside priced inventory totals. Purchased stock keeps its recorded value
where its source is known; unclear history is marked for review. Existing
Lot costs and historical sale costs do not change.
Correct, match, allocate, split and exclude import records in the batch you uploaded, keep unsaved changes on your phone, and find Billing under Settings.
Import review now lets you fix records in the batch you uploaded instead of
correcting the CSV and starting over.
Open a record, choose Edit, change the values and choose Save and
check. The original file values stay visible, and you can undo your latest
saved change.
Exclude a record you do not want. It keeps its history, does not block the
rest of the import and can be restored.
Match customers, suppliers and Lots by name, phone or code, and confirm one
match for a single row or for every matching row. Records with a different
phone number or a date outside a Lot's life need your confirmation.
Tick Use this choice next time to have the same name suggested in later
imports. It is saved only after the records import, and you can forget it at
any time. You still confirm each suggestion.
See exactly how each sale or expense will be split across Lots before you
approve the import.
Divide an egg collection total across Lots with exact counts.
Unsaved edits stay on your phone and survive a reload. A save made without a
connection is sent once when you reconnect. If someone else changed the
review first, you compare the values and choose what to keep.
Records that were already imported never change, and an interrupted import
resumes without posting anything twice. See the imports guide
for the full steps.
Billing is now a tab in Settings, next to your other organization settings.
Its Subscription and Billing history tabs work as before, a Billing
admin who selects Settings opens Billing directly, and old Billing links,
including links in emails you already received, still open the right page. See
Plans and billing for the details.
Overviews for each type of poultry operation, this release-notes page, sample-farm screenshots, a security page and billing guides for each market.
The home page links to separate overviews for broiler farms,
layer farms and hatcheries. Each
explains the supported daily work and links to the full task guide.
This page lists each major and minor release, newest first. Use the RSS or
Atom link above to follow future releases in your feed reader. No account is
needed.
Home-page screenshots show PoultryDesk running with a sample farm's records.
They are labelled as examples, not customer results.
The security page explains account access, record history,
hosting and how to report a concern.
Plans and billing describes the billing
arrangements for the site you are reading. Use the site's market switcher to
