Getting started with PoultryDesk

Set up your farm and record your first figures in about 30 minutes. Need an account? Create your organization first.

The dashboard for Neema Hills Poultry Farm: revenue this week, eggs collected, lots, attention, withdrawals and low stock, quick actions, and sales against costs.

Before you start

Have your farm's web address, sign-in details or invite link, and a phone. PoultryDesk runs in your browser; installation is optional.

The 30-minute setup, in order

Open Get started at /onboarding. After your first capture, this becomes Setup center. Follow Foundation, Daily operations, then Financial setup. Saved forms return here. Choose Next when a tab is ready, then Finish setup when all required work is done. Optional price books, partners and tax settings do not block daily work.

1. Sign in and check the organization profile

Check your name, country, contact email and phone with country code, time zone, operation type and size at /settings/organization. Check currency at /settings/finance. Your subdomain cannot change.

2. Build your locations

Add sites, then houses. Check floor area; shared costs may use it.

3. Invite your team and set roles

Open Settings > Team members. Give each person the narrowest role for their work, or choose I work alone in the checklist.

4. Add your first flock or egg set

Choose Place a Lot. Select a house, placement date and bird or egg count. Lot means a managed flock or hatchery egg set.

5. Enter your first daily figures

Record mortality, feed and, for layers, eggs. Queued means saved on this device; it syncs when connected.

6. Record the money

Record a sale and an expense. Review each Lot's share before confirming a shared cost.
