Farm worker: first day

Record today's figures from your phone. Setup in progress means your manager still needs to add the sites and Lots.

The Mortality round on a phone, ready for today's deaths.

The daily routine

  1. Choose the Lot. Open your flock or egg set from /lots/list.
  2. Record deaths. The Mortality round starts with one Lot; select more Lots or All farms for a round. A new entry adds deaths.
  3. Record feed. Open Feed round > Manual capture. After changing date, wait for that day's Lots and stock status to load. Check queued decisions on a Lot's Feed form; use Retry Feed state if unavailable.
  4. Record eggs. For layers, enter each collection.
  5. Submit. Queued means saved on this device, even without signal. It syncs when connected; do not submit it again.

Use Tools in the top bar to work out bags, quantities or dates without leaving an entry. Calculator guide.

Watch out

A recorded mortality day is read-only. Double-click its value to correct the day total, add a reason and review Recorded before, Change, Day total after and Live birds after. Zero is allowed. Live birds after uses the current flock count.

Unavailable means history could not load. You can queue additional deaths, but corrections need the prior total. Feed corrections and Not fed also need checked history and synced decisions; additional feed can queue offline. Ask your manager about sales and expenses.
